Both the tinter and the one referring the job (The "referrer") get paid immediately.
The tinter and the referrer need to agree ahead of time how everyone will get paid. The easiest way is for the referrer to receive their portion of the job electronically directly from the client as a deposit and then instruct the client to pay the remaining balance in cash directly to the tinter upon completion. Tinter gets paid only if the client is completely satisfied with the quality of your work. If the tint begins to bubble, peel, or any other issues, the tinter agrees to fix it for no extra charge within 1 week of the complaint. If the tinter fails to fix the problem within 10 days, the tinter can pay someone else to fix it for them. If the tinter does nothing to remedy the problem, the tinter will immediately lose their membership to the Tintwork.
Tinters: Obviously we prefer cash, however, we highly recommend that you accept payment in more ways that just cash. Some customers will only pay with a credit card or other electronic way so it would be impossible for the referrer to pay you cash on the spot. You don't want to lose out on a job.

Everything is free. You can set up a free Paypal account and link it to your bank account. If you send money "as a gift", there is no service fee. It is also free to receive money and those funds can be transferred to your checking account for free in roughly 3 days. Need the money faster? Paypal also offers it's own debit card linked to your paypal account! You can gain access to your money almost instantly. Use the card to purchase items and receive 1% cash back or withdraw the funds at an ATM (service fees apply) As a business, you can also download the "PayPal Here" app and get a free swiper to connect to your smartphone or tablet so you can accept credit cards from your clients (roughly 3% processing fee).
CASH app & Venmo app are very easy to use on your smart phone. It links directly to your checking account just like Paypal. It's completely free to use regardless if you're sending or receiving money.
Zelle is offered free with most online banking systems. Call your branch for more details on whether it's offered and how to set it up.
REQUIRED RESERVE
Every tinter is required to have a $200 reserve. Think of it as a security deposit that will be used for a couple things:
1. Customer complaints. If a customer complains about the work you've done or they are requesting a repair under warranty, you have 2 choices: You can fix the problem within 10 days of the complaint, or pay someone else to do it. If you pay someone else to do it, you will be required to not only pay the wholesale rate to tint the car, but also any removal fees necessary. $60 minimum plus $20 Tintwork processing fee. Tintwork will draw the appropriate amount from your reserve for that work.
2. While we make every effort to have the customer only hand you cash for the amount due to you, that doesn't always happen. If the customer gives you the full order amount in cash, then Tintwork will pull the amount due to them out of your reserve. You cannot do another job until you have replenished your reserve back up to $200 (minimum). To avoid missing jobs, we highly recommend you set up an electronic payment account with PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, or CASH app. With a click of a button, your reserve will always be met. You could also keep a higher amount in your reserve to prevent any disruptions in membership.
Your reserve will be held for 4 months after your membership is terminated to allow time for potential complaints to come in.
